Hip Hip Horray! We survived the holidays….thats always good! Patrick and I have been taking a break for a bit and soon its back to teaching classes and making more art.
I got a chili pepper annealer from Patrick for my birthday and I love it! Thanks to Jan and Pip for getting it here so quickly:) You can check out there web site at http://www.twolassesglassclasses.com/ . These women are awesome to do buisness with! Oh yes…thanks to Tink as well, for helping Pat to decide on what annealer to get me!
We will be putting new work up as soon as we get back into the hot shop…and speaking of hot shops, we just finished rebuilding the furnace up at the museum. Whew! Glad thats over! Actually, I rather enjoy the building process, we dont do it very often so its a good break in the monotony of my everyday studio chores.
Remember my blog about buying the house? Well, we’ve decided (just in time) that it might not be the best thing for us to do right now. Our gas bill was outrageous last month…...and its cold in this house! So, were looking at other houses in the area to buy….smaller houses:)Life just keeps throwing out those punches, ya know? :) Does anyone else out there feel the punching bag of life? Is it just me, or do we all feel like the roller coaster just keeps going up and down?

By the way, the shamrock vase rocks!
